The Club runs two competitions each year: a one-page competition for the Eagar Trophy, and 6-12 sheet competition for the Theme Rose Bowl.
Entries for the Eagar Trophy can be stamps, other philatelic items or postcards. Topics for entries for the Theme Rose Bowl are based in letters from the alphabet. They can also be stamps, other philatelic items or postcards.

The Victor Turner Memorial Trophy is given for the best display and talk by a Club member each season.
